Overview<\/span>

We are seeking a skilled <\/span>Transportation Engineer <\/span>to join a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing communities through the application of intelligent transportation technology and solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with state, regional, and local agencies to plan, design, and implement transportation and traffic engineering projects that improve mobility, safety, and sustainability.<\/span>

Key Responsibilities<\/span>
<\/div>
  • Lead or support transportation and traffic engineering projects involving signal timing, signal systems operations, and traffic operations analysis.<\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Prepare technical design plans, specifications, reports, systems engineering documentation, and budget estimates.<\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Coordinate directly with public agencies, clients, and partner consultants throughout project development.<\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Apply engineering tools such as <\/span>Synchro, SimTraffic, VISSIM, AutoCAD, MicroStation<\/span>, and <\/span>GIS <\/span>for planning and design tasks.<\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Participate in local travel and on -site meetings as needed.<\/span>

    Qualifications<\/span>
    <\/div>
    • Bachelor’s Degree <\/span>in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Transportation Planning, or related discipline (required).<\/span>
      <\/p><\/li>

    • 4+ years <\/span>of experience in transportation planning and traffic engineering.<\/span>
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Familiarity with industry -standard tools such as Synchro, SimTraffic, VISSIM, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and GIS.<\/span>
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Professional certifications such as <\/span>PE, PTOE, IMSA<\/span>, or <\/span>Traffic Engineer <\/span>license are desirable.<\/span>
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.<\/span>
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and manage client relationships.<\/span>
