Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable Traffic Control Attendant for a short-term overnight assignment in Myrtle Beach, SC. This individual will assist with directing vehicle traffic, guiding drivers, and helping maintain an organized flow of traffic in a designated outdoor area.

This position requires working outdoors throughout the shift and interacting professionally with the public while following provided instructions and safety guidelines.

Schedule

Applicants must be available for all of the following shifts:

• Tuesday, September 15: 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM
• Wednesday, September 16: 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM
• Thursday, September 17: 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM
• Friday, September 18: 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Direct vehicle traffic in designated areas
• Provide basic directions and assistance to drivers as needed
• Monitor traffic flow and report concerns to onsite management
• Follow all safety instructions and site procedures
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with the public
• Remain attentive and alert throughout the shift

Qualifications

• Ability to work outdoors for the duration of the shift
• Reliable transportation to and from the worksite
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods as needed
• Dependable attendance and punctuality required

Dress Code

• White polo shirt
• Black pants or black shorts
• Closed-toe shoes recommended

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to walk, stand, and sit intermittently throughout the shift
• Ability to remain alert and attentive in an active traffic environment
