Trading Operations Analyst
Location: Newark, DE (100% Onsite)
Pay Rate: $28.00/hr W2
Duration: 17 Weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Overtime as business volumes require)
Interview Process: One Zoom Panel Interview

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Trading Operations Analyst to support trade processing and operational activities within a fast-paced financial markets environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates and early-career professionals interested in financial markets, securities lending, and trading operations.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrate the ability to work independently while knowing when to escalate issues, and have advanced Excel capabilities with an interest in automation and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and process trade orders while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to established procedures.
  • Monitor asset and cash positions, identify discrepancies, and assist with timely resolution.
  • Manage client sale and breach activity across U.S. and international markets.
  • Handle recall communications, return settlements, desk escalations, and fails management activities.
  • Utilize automation technologies and data analysis techniques to improve operational efficiency and resiliency.
  • Contribute to trading platform enhancements and continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with internal stakeholders across multiple business functions.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and operational updates for management and business partners.
  • Assist with investigations, issue resolution, and operational risk mitigation efforts.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including:
    • Excel

  • Understanding of financial markets, trading instruments, and trade lifecycle processes.

    • Generative AI tools
  • Strong presentation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
