Wytheville Community College is seeking a part-time Groundskeeper. The Groundskeeper will : assist in the care of grounds including mowing, trimming trees and shrubs, and snow/ice removal; Assist in the moving furniture for office and classroom changes and setups for special events, classes, and workshops;
Assist with basic building maintenance to include preventative maintenance, installations, light bulb changes and other building maintenance;
Obtain and maintain training in CPR, First Aid, and AED;
Complete all training required by WCC;
Practice regular and dependable attendance and punctuality;
Practice good teamwork among co-workers;
Display initiative and work efficiency;
Be observant and report conditions that may be detrimental to the college;
Participate in scheduled staff/safety meetings; and
Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, faculty, administration and the public. Schedule will primarily be working Tuesday through Friday.
