What You'll DoThe Trademark Paralegal provides essential and specialized support for attorneys and internal teams managing Authentic's extensive trademark portfolio. The Trademark Paralegal assists Authentic's IP team with all phases of U.S. and international trademark prosecution, from pre‑filing to maintenance of registered trademarks, and also assists on enforcement and opposition matters.What you'll be working onCreates, maintains, and updates U.S. and international trademark and patent prosecution and opposition files and case materials in both physical and electronic records management systems, including WebTMSCorresponds regularly with foreign counsel on new trademark applications and routine prosecution mattersCreates, maintains, and updates docket reportsReviews the docket on a daily basis to track all deadlines associated with trademark prosecution, oppositions, customs recordals, and enforcement mattersPrepares powers of attorney and related documents for trademark assignmentsGathers and organizes evidence of use to support pending applications pending oppositionsPrepares status reports for attorneys and internal teams as neededAssists in quality assurance review of trademark records and correspondenceAssists in checking and updating the status of trademark cases with the United States Patent and Trademark Office and foreign trademark offices when appropriateOther duties as assignedMust Haves1‑2+ years of relevant experienceExcellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize workloadDemonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and problem solveRelevant work experience in IP preferredExperience supporting IP attorneys preferredPrimary Location Salary Range$70,000 - $80,000Equal Employment Opportunity StatementAuthentic is an equal‑opportunity employer and we value and embrace the diversity and inclusion of all Team Members.
