Our client is an Am Law 100 firm headquartered in Dallas, with more than 700 lawyers across 19 global offices and one of the fastest growth trajectories in the Am Law rankings. The firm's trademark practice manages the complete portfolios of several of the world's most recognizable brands — a volume few firms in the country can match — and has built a dedicated trademark docketing organization to support it. The culture is collegial and team-first, anchored by a brand-new headquarters in uptown Dallas.
The Trademark Docketing Manager owns the firm's trademark and copyright docket end to end, ensuring every domestic and international deadline is captured, verified, and delivered on time while leading and developing a team of docketing clerks. This is a high-autonomy seat: partners hand off complete assignments, and you drive them from intake through delivery — setting standards, running quality control, and producing docket reports for attorneys and firm leadership. You will also help lead an upcoming docketing platform conversion, a rare opportunity to shape the systems behind a top-tier trademark operation.
What we're looking for:

• 5+ years of trademark and copyright docketing experience in a law firm; trademark-focused career (no patent docketing)
• Strong international docketing command: WIPO, Madrid Protocol, foreign renewals, office actions, and jurisdiction-specific deadlines
• Full US lifecycle fluency: USPTO filings, statements of use, Section 8/9 renewals, TTAB deadlines
• Advanced experience with IP docketing platforms (PATTSY, CPi, Anaqua, or comparable); conversion experience strongly preferred
• Proven supervisory experience: training, mentoring, QC, and performance management of docketing staff
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to run high volume independently
• Onsite in Dallas 4 days per week; Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
