Job Opportunity: Trademark Associate Attorney Chicago

A top IP law firm's Chicago office is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney for their Trademark practice group. This role offers a strong path for professional growth and the opportunity to work in a supportive firm culture.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in trademark law.
• Licensed in Illinois or eligible for the Illinois bar exam.
• Experience in trademark prosecution, infringement litigation, and enforcement.
• Familiarity with trademark searches, clearance opinions, and domain name disputes.
• Background in advertising, promotions, or copyright issues is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct trademark clearance searches and manage trademark portfolios.
• Handle trademark prosecution and enforcement matters.
• Advise clients on building and protecting trademark assets.
• Mentor junior associates and engage in business development efforts.

Compensation and Benefits:

The anticipated base salary range is $225,000-250,000 per year. Actual salary will depend on several factors including but not limited to qualifications, job-related skills, and relevant experience. This position offers competitive compensation, a wide range of comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career advancement in a dynamic environment.
