    Trade Show Coordinator / Sales Administrator

    Richardson, TX - onsite

     

    Summary: This dual-role position provides full-spectrum support for trade show coordination and sales administration functions across the global sales organization. Responsibilities include managing all logistics for domestic and international trade shows and partnering with the Director of Global Sales & Marketing to direct, administer, and track sales projects, promotions, and department programs.

    Responsibilities:

    Trade Show & Event Coordination (75%)
    •Coordinate and register sales staff for all domestic, national, and international trade shows (approximately 75 – 85 annually).
    •Ensure timely payment of booth space and submit requests for electrical, Wi-Fi, and other logistics.
    •Arrange shipment of trade show materials and equipment.
    •Secure and distribute electronic attendee lists (with email addresses) to the Sales team.
    •Maintain a trade show calendar with relevant dates, locations, and event packets.
    •Provide administrative support for special events such as the National Sales Meeting and Mid-Year Sales Training.
    •Research venues, lodging, meeting rooms, catering, and extracurricular activities; collaborate with Administrative Supervisor to finalize arrangements.

    Sales Support (25%)
    •Support sales presentations through product demonstrations, webinars, and customer training sessions in coordination with the RSM.
    •Respond to incoming general inquiries and sales opportunities.
    •Maintain accurate CRM records for account activities and customer interactions.
    •Communicate with internal departments (factory, service, shipping) to address customer issues.
    •Maintain regular communication with the Director of Global Sales & Marketing regarding account progress and sales strategy.
    •Follow established work instructions for order entry and account management.
    •Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications - Skills, Experience, Knowledge:
    •Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
    •Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    •High attention to detail and time management.
    •Demonstrated ownership of tasks and follow-through on deadlines.
    •Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
    •Ability to read and interpret RFPs, bids, instruction manuals, and procedure documents.
    •Strong mathematical aptitude including ability to compute percentages, ratios, and create visual data representations.
    •Ability to apply logical reasoning and problem-solving skills in standardized scenarios.
