Position Summary

The Trade Manager reports to the Director of Trade Operations and supports a broad range of export and import licensing and compliance activities. This role enables efficient, timely, and compliant trade operations across the business. The Trade Manager will partner with internal stakeholders to prepare export and import authorizations, review transactions and documentation, provide training, support with metrics, and ensure adherence to applicable U.S. and international trade regulations. 

Responsibilities:

• Prepare EAR and ITAR license applications and manage all post approval activities (recordkeeping, reporting, Export Authorization Control Plans, and related requirements). 
• Evaluate export and import transactions to determine applicability of exemptions, exceptions, and licensing requirements. 
• Develop and deliver comprehensive trade compliance training to internal stakeholders. 
• Support the development and maintenance of trade metrics and KPIs. 
• Determine and verify jurisdiction and classification, Schedule B, and/or HTS for new and existing parts and products. 
• Support with the creation and maintenance of trade policies and procedures. 
• Review and adjudicate positive and false-positive Restricted Party Screening results within OCR EASE. 
• Assess Sales Order and RMA documentation for completeness and compliance regarding end-use/end-user declarations, denied parties, and other compliance concerns; provide guidance to internal stakeholders as needed. 
• Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by the VP of Trade and/or the Director of Trade Operations.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in the ITAR, EAR, and other US export/import regulations. 
• Direct experience classifying parts and products for export/import. 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and trade compliance platforms (e.g., OCR EASE, DECCS, SNAP-R). 
• Demonstrates advanced written and verbal communication skills, effectively engaging senior leadership and collaborating across diverse business functions. 
• Advance knowledge of Anti-boycott Regulations, U.S. Census requirements, and U.S. Customs Regulations. 
• Travel as needed (up to 10% of time). 

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree. 
• Seven (7) or more years of international trade licensing and compliance experience.

The pay range reflects the expected base salary for this position. Final compensation will be based on role, level, skills, experience, and geographic location.
