A leading financial services organization is seeking a Trade Floor Support Analyst to provide hands-on technical support within a fast-paced front-office environment. This position supports traders by ensuring desktop systems, market-data platforms, trading applications, hardware, and end-user technology remain operational with minimal disruption.
This is not a traditional desktop-support role. The successful candidate must understand the urgency of supporting revenue-generating users and be able to troubleshoot quickly, communicate professionally, and remain calm when multiple high-impact issues occur simultaneously.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide onsite desktop and application support to front-office trading personnel.
- Troubleshoot Windows workstations and Microsoft Office applications.
- Support Bloomberg Terminal and Reuters platforms.
- Assist with FIX connectivity and trading-application issues.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network-connectivity, and peripheral problems.
- Support multi-monitor workstations, docking stations, printers, phones, and related equipment.
- Install, configure, image, deploy, replace, and upgrade workstations.
- Support user onboarding and workstation setup.
- Prioritize incidents affecting traders and business-critical activity.
- Escalate infrastructure, networking, security, or application issues appropriately.
- Maintain accurate ticket and incident documentation.
- Provide white-glove support to front-office and executive users.
- Participate in weekend support when business needs require it.
Role Requirements:- Previous experience supporting a live trading floor or comparable front-office environment.
- Financial-services, investment-banking, or Capital Markets experience.
- Strong Windows desktop-support expertise.
- Microsoft Office troubleshooting experience.
- Bloomberg Terminal support experience.
- Reuters Workspace, Eikon, or comparable Reuters-platform experience.
- Understanding of FIX Protocol and trading technologies.
- Experience troubleshooting workstations, hardware, connectivity, and peripherals.
- Strong incident prioritization and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer-service abilities.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Professional demeanor when supporting demanding business users.
- Ability to work onsite in Charlotte five days per week.
- Flexibility to support occasional weekend work.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE- Broader Capital Markets knowledge.
