Title: Trade Control Analyst
Client: Banking
Location: Hybrid at Houston TX 77046
Duration: 12+ months of contract | (Based upon performance, could be possibility of extension or hire) 
Pay Range: $35/hr - $40/hr. 
Shift: Monday–Friday | 8 AM - 5 PM

Position Overview
  • The Global Fixed Income, Currency & Commodities Operations (GFICCO) team provides end-to-end trade control, confirmation, and settlement support across GFICCO businesses. The team also delivers utility over-the-counter (OTC) derivative confirmation and settlement services for non-FICC businesses.
  • Within GFICCO, the Commodities Trade Control Team supports a broad range of services, including trade control, settlement, OTC derivative confirmation and settlement, and commodities operations.
  • The Commodities Trade Control Team is seeking a Trade Control Analyst to join its growing team. This role supports the expanding Global Commodities business across multiple products and instruments. Full technical training will be provided.
  • The position is desk-aligned and focuses on trade validation and reconciliation, trade amendments, regulatory and management reporting, process and risk improvement, and issue resolution
  • We are looking for an enthusiastic, intellectually curious, and detail-oriented individual who is eager to develop and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, diverse, and rapidly evolving environment.
 
Key Responsibilities
• Perform trade validation by reconciling trades and ensuring accurate system booking.
• Process trade amendments to correct booking errors and maintain accurate trade records.
• Investigate, escalate, and resolve trade breaks in partnership with Sales, Trading, and Operations teams.
• Support regulatory and management reporting activities as required.
• Contribute to process improvement, risk reduction, and control enhancement initiatives.
• Respond to ad hoc requests and support broader team priorities as needed.
