Your Role at Delta Faucet:

The Director of Trade Marketing Content & Communications will lead the development and execution of content and communication strategies that engage trade audiences and advance Delta Faucet Company's business and segment priorities.

This leader will establish the overarching trade communication strategy, create compelling and consistent messaging across DFC's portfolio of brands, and ensure communications are coordinated across every stage of the customer journey. Working closely with Product, Sales, Channel Marketing, Brand Marketing, Training, Luxury, and Sales Enablement, the Director will connect business priorities to clear, actionable communications that strengthen customer engagement and support commercial growth.

This role is ideal for a strategic communications leader who can build the vision and operating model while ensuring high-quality execution across a complex, multi-brand organization.

Responsibilities:

Lead the Trade Communication Strategy

  • Develop and own an integrated, end-to-end communication strategy aligned with business, brand, and trade segment priorities.
  • Establish messaging frameworks, communication principles, audience strategies, and channel plans.
  • Translate complex business and product priorities into clear, relevant, and actionable communications for trade audiences.
  • Ensure a consistent voice, tone, and market position across all trade-facing communications.

Oversee Trade Messaging and Communication Planning

  • Develop compelling messaging that supports segment strategies, product launches, marketing campaigns, sales initiatives, and customer engagement.
  • Create and manage an integrated trade communication calendar that provides visibility across functions and audiences.
  • Establish communication processes, workflows, governance, and approval structures.
  • Prioritize and sequence communications to manage message volume, reduce audience overload, and increase impact.
  • Ensure all communications meet brand, legal, and regulatory requirements.

Optimize Communication Channels

  • Define and manage the appropriate mix of digital, CRM, field, sales, and customer-facing communication channels.
  • Evaluate channel performance and audience engagement to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Introduce best practices and new approaches that strengthen the reach, relevance, and effectiveness of trade communications.
  • Use insights and performance data to continuously improve channel and content strategies.

Direct Trade Content Strategy and Development

  • Lead the content strategy and development plan for trade marketing assets in partnership with Channel and Brand Marketing.
  • Oversee the creation of materials such as price books, catalogs, product-launch content, digital campaigns, CRM assets, sales tools, and customer communications.
  • Manage content development processes, including briefing, writing, editing, proofreading, approvals, production, and distribution.
  • Ensure content is accurate, audience-focused, on brand, and aligned with strategic and commercial objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve content reuse, scalability, speed, and overall effectiveness.

Build Strong Cross-Functional Partnerships

  • Partner with Product, Sales, Channel Marketing, Brand Marketing, Training, Luxury, and Sales Enablement to align communication priorities and deliver cohesive customer experiences.
  • Serve as a strategic communications advisor to business and functional leaders.
  • Collaborate with internal creative teams and external agencies to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.
  • Build alignment among stakeholders while maintaining clarity around priorities, roles, decision rights, and deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience developing and leading integrated content and communication strategies, preferably within a B2B, channel, trade, or multi-brand environment.
  • Expertise across written, visual, digital, and multimedia content.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of brand management and the ability to maintain consistency across multiple brands, audiences, and touchpoints.
  • Knowledge of sales processes, customer journeys, and the role communications and marketing content play in supporting commercial growth.
  • Strong project and portfolio management capabilities, with the ability to lead multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience establishing communication governance, workflows, editorial calendars, and approval processes.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and build alignment across functions without relying solely on direct authority.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using performance measures to improve content and channel effectiveness.
  • Sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with execution.
