The Work
- Freight Focus: Stone and pavers—heavy, stable loads that demand solid securement.
- Territory: About 90% local routes; roughly 10% OTR to cover regional needs.
- Equipment: CDL A tractor trailer; moffett forklift for offloading at jobsites and customer locations.
- Pay Enhancements: Quarterly bonuses and overtime availability.
What You’ll Do
- Operate a commercial vehicle with safety as the first priority.
- Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and document findings.
- Assist with loading and unloading; run the moffett for efficient, safe deliveries.
- Maintain meticulous delivery logs, mileage, and fuel records.
- Comply with DOT rules, traffic laws, and company standards.
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and collaborate with teammates.
- Keep your truck organized and report maintenance needs immediately.
What It Takes
- Active CDL A and clean driving record.
- 2+ years of driving experience preferred.
- Deep familiarity with DOT regulations and safety practices.
- Self-directed time management and dependable follow-through.
- Clear, respectful communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials; comfortable with physical work.
- Willingness to work varied shifts and some weekends.
- Hands-on skill with moffett forklifts and tractor trailers.
