SEVEN CITIES TOWING & RECYCLING TOW TRUCK DRIVER POSITION:
Tow Truck Drivers are responsible for a variety of tasks occurring both during and after a tow. These duties include:
Driving the tow truck to a pickup site
Communicating with the client & team for details of the vehicle
Quickly determining a course of action for moving a damaged vehicle
Securing a damaged vehicle to the tow truck
Jump-starting vehicles, changing tires and reconnecting damaged parts
Transporting the vehicle to a service station or junkyard
Submitting paperwork regarding each tow

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
• A basic understanding of mechanical systems
• Good time-management skills
• Attention to detail in high-pressure situations
• Effective communication skills
• Good physical dexterity and stamina
• The ability to follow instructions and procedures
• Comfort working both independently and collaboratively
· Must have ability to pass a physical examination on a bi-annual basis as required by Department of Transportation and/or Seven Cities Towing & Recycling policy
· 3 years of experience in an automotive/mechanical environment, or technical school or a minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales and/or customer service role is preferred
· Must successfully complete required departmental training courses within 60 days of hire
· Must attain and maintain all state and local licensing requirements
