This is responsible and advanced professional work overseeing Tourism and Culture for the City, with a primary emphasis on the overseeing, coordination, and execution of special events and citywide activations. The position leads the development and delivery of a diverse portfolio of signature events, festivals, and public programming that enhances the Miami Beach brand, engages residents and visitors, and drives economic activity with the primary goal of position Miami Beach as a premier destination. The role also provides oversight of cultural arts initiatives, including public art and cultural programming, ensuring alignment with the City's identity and strategic priorities. Work involves extensive coordination across City departments and contacts with government officials, public, private and non-profit agencies, the business and development community, citizen groups, advisory boards.
