    Job Title: Tour Specialist

    Location: Qcells Cartersville Facility
    Employment Status: Full-Time
    Work Schedule: Five days per week onsite

    Position Summary

    The Tour Specialist is responsible for coordinating and managing the end-to-end tour experience for guests visiting the Qcells Cartersville facility. This position serves as the central point of contact for tour requests and ensures each visit is professionally planned, organized, communicated, and executed.

    The Tour Specialist coordinates internal stakeholders, tour ambassadors, speakers, guest registration, agendas, tour logistics, and post-tour follow-up. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, customer service, and the ability to manage multiple tours and internal partners simultaneously.

    Key Responsibilities

    Tour Request & Scheduling

    • Receive, review, and manage all tour requests, including purpose, requested date, attendee count, and requested facility areas.
    • Confirm tour dates based on facility availability and availability of required tour ambassadors and speakers.
    • Maintain the master tour calendar and ensure all scheduled and completed tour information is accurate and current.
    • Communicate tour confirmations, changes, visitor requirements, and other relevant information to internal requestors.
    • Maintain complete records of tour requests, schedules, and completed visits.

    Tour Planning & Coordination

    • Work with internal requestors to develop and finalize the agenda and determine the appropriate tour scope based on the audience and purpose of the visit.
    • Identify, coordinate, and confirm tour ambassadors for applicable manufacturing areas, including ingot, wafer, cell, and module.
    • Confirm a speaker to deliver the Qcells/company overview presentation when applicable.
    • Coordinate timing and transitions among presentations, manufacturing areas, meetings, and other visit activities.
    • Ensure all internal participants receive the final agenda and understand their roles and responsibilities before the visit.

    Guest Registration & Communications

    • Register all external guests in iLobby prior to arrival and verify that required guest information is complete and accurate.
    • Provide internal requestors with visitor instructions, arrival information, safety requirements, and other logistical details.
    • Maintain an accurate and current list of all tour attendees.
    • Coordinate updates or changes to guest information with internal stakeholders as needed.

    Day-of-Tour Preparation & Execution

    • Prepare Room 102 or the designated meeting space to ensure it is organized, professional, and ready to receive visitors.
    • Prepare required tour materials and supplies, including PPE, headsets, refreshments, Qcells gifts, presentation materials, and guest agendas.
    • Confirm that tour ambassadors, speakers, and internal participants are prepared and available before guest arrival.
    • Support guest arrival, check-in, presentations, and transitions throughout the visit.
    • Troubleshoot scheduling, facility, or logistical issues in real time to ensure a smooth and professional visitor experience.

    Post-Tour Follow-Up & Reporting

    • Send post-tour thank-you communications to guests and/or the internal tour requestor.
    • Distribute post-tour surveys and track responses and results.
    • Analyze recurring feedback and identify opportunities to continuously improve the Qcells tour experience.
    • Maintain accurate historical tour records, including dates, requesting departments, organizations represented, attendance, tour ambassadors, and speakers.
    • Prepare or support periodic tour activity and guest experience reporting as requested.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
    • Experience in event coordination, hospitality, visitor services, executive support, communications, operations, or a related field preferred.
    • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
    • Ability to coordinate across multiple departments and levels of the organization.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and schedule changes.
    • Strong customer service orientation and professional presence.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and calendar management tools.
    • Experience with visitor management systems such as iLobby is preferred.

    Work Requirements

    • Full-time position based at the Qcells Cartersville facility and required to work onsite five days per week.
    • Must be available to support tours during normal business hours and adjust schedules when required by visitor needs.
    • Must be comfortable working within an active manufacturing environment and following all required safety procedures.
    • May be required to walk extended distances throughout the manufacturing facility and assist with transporting or setting up tour materials.

    The Tour Specialist will help ensure that every Qcells visitor receives a well-organized, safe, professional, and memorable experience.
