Total Rewards Governance Partner
Position Summary
Supports governance, administration, and effectiveness of our client's benefits and compensation committees, including Health & Welfare, 401(k), Pension, and Board Compensation Committee. Ensures strong governance practices, prepares high-quality materials, coordinates stakeholders, and delivers clear, decision-ready information. Requires expertise in benefits, retirement plans, fiduciary governance, and compliance.
Committee Governance & Administration
Manage committee operations in alignment with governance standards and regulations
Develop annual calendars, meeting schedules, and agendas
Prepare, review, and distribute meeting materials
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors
Track action items and ensure timely completion
Maintain charters, records, and governance documentation
Benefits & Committee Support
Present benefits and retirement plan information to committees
Support fiduciary decision-making and documentation standards
Assist with audits, projects, and compliance initiatives
Monitor regulatory changes and industry trends
Serve as HIPAA Privacy Officer and ensure compliance
Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
Liaise with vendors, consultants, actuaries, auditors, and legal counsel
Partner with HR, Legal, Finance, and Compensation teams
Align vendor deliverables with committee needs
Identify and implement governance improvements

Education
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field
Experience
7–9 years in HR, benefits, compensation, retirement, or governance
Committee or fiduciary support experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Expertise in benefits and retirement plans
Knowledge of fiduciary governance and regulations (e.g., HIPAA)
Strong organization, project management, and attention to detail
Executive communication and presentation skills
Ability to manage priorities and maintain confidentiality
Experience preparing governance and committee materials
