    Tooling Welder

    We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Tooling Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling and repairing precise tooling components using various welding techniques. This role requires a high level of precision and expertise in working with specialized welding equipment.

    Responsibilities include but not limited to:

    ·         Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project specifications.

    ·         Determine the appropriate welding equipment and methods based on requirements.

    ·         Set up components for welding according to precise specifications.

    ·         Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments.

    ·         Repair and maintain tooling and fixtures through welding and fabrication.

    ·         Inspect and test welded surfaces, structures, and components to identify flaws.

    ·         Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

    Requirements:

    ·         Proven experience as a welder, with a focus on tooling and precision welding.

    ·         Familiarity with a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG, MIG, etc.).

    ·         Proficiency in using tools like saws, squares, and calipers for material preparation.

    ·         Knowledge of different metals and their properties.

    ·         Commitment to safety standards and use of protective clothing and gear.

    ·         Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.

    ·         Professional Certification (e.g., AWS welding certificate) is preferred.

    ·         Successful completion of a relevant apprenticeship program or vocational training in welding.

    ·         Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting, specifically in tooling or precision welding.

    • Minimum physical requirements include lifting moderate weight up to 75lbs, standing for long periods.
