Tooling Maintenance Technician

JOB SUMMARY: To clean, maintain and prepare the extrusion tooling to the required standard for production.PRIMARY DUTIES:1. Clean and inspect extrusion tooling (Components) according to VEKA Policy/Procedures2. Disassemble extrusion tooling and insure proper assembly3. Perform Maintenance on extrusion tooling as directed4. Disassemble purged-in dies5. Polish die, templates, and calibration as needed6. Communicate wear and damage to immediate supervisor7. Maintain a clean and safe work environment8. Operate Reach truck as neededSECONDARY DUTIES:1. Assist supervision and tooling maintenance personnel.2. All other duties as assignedKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Mechanical Aptitude, Oral Communication, and Accuracy. Safety and Quality oriented.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: GED, High School Education, Trade school preferred, or Previous Experience
