Insight Global is looking for a Tooling Maintenance Technician that will work primarily on the production floor supporting injection molding operations by responding to press calls, troubleshooting tooling issues, and performing preventative maintenance on molds. Prepare, clean, repair, and maintain injection molds and tooling, including replacing fittings, water lines, and other components as needed. Perform occasional welding and light machining work, document maintenance activities in the company's system, and work closely with the tooling team to keep production running efficiently.
Important to note: this plant is nicotine free and will require drug testing.
5+ years of tooling, mechanical maintenance, or related trade experience.
Solid background in tooling, machining, mold maintenance, or repair.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a team environment.
Preferred:
Journeyman card.
Injection molding experience.
Data entry on computers - IMaintenance and MaintenanceX preferred.
