Introduction
This position is for a machining launch engineer responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of the incoming machining line. The role involves collaboration with the headquarters launch team and suppliers to achieve key business metrics for long-term success.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Tooling and tool design expertise
- Machining proficiency
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) knowledge
- Prior work experience in the client's industry

- Experience with CNC Mills
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Support machining processes with tool development
- Implement GTSV tool tracking and identify tool dominant features
- Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity
- Complete all PPAP quality launch documentation
- Apply engineering principles to improve manufacturing processes and products
- Lead process audits and ensure compliance with Powertrain guidelines
- Support ISO 14001 compliance and internal ISO auditing
