Title: Tooling Engineer - Harness
Locations: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 6 Months
Pay Range: $45 - $50/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)
Introduction
We are seeking a highly skilled Tooling Engineer with expertise in enterprise delivery platforms to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software engineering and platform engineering, particularly in CI/CD environments, with a focus on owning and defining architectural standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years in software engineering, solution architecture, or platform engineering, including senior architecture leadership on distributed, high-availability systems.
- Experience in payments, fintech, merchant services, or a comparably regulated transaction-processing domain.
- Ownership of an enterprise CI/CD platform with pipeline-as-code, templating and reuse at scale, RBAC design, secrets management, and multi-team governance.
- Experience integrating security scanning into delivery pipelines and setting policy gates that engineering teams accept rather than route around.
- Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on Harness across multiple modules, particularly STO, SEI, or CCM.
- Policy-as-code experience (OPA/Rego or comparable).
- Cloud cost management or FinOps practice ownership; showback or chargeback implementation.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Own the enterprise delivery platform and define architectural standards.
- Establish CI/CD practices and orchestrate security testing within delivery pipelines.
- Responsible for cloud cost management and ensuring the adoption of modern platform capabilities.
