Mission
Safeguard uptime and quality by maintaining, repairing, and enhancing our tooling and die equipment.
Core responsibilities
- Identify issues and restore tooling/dies to optimal performance.
- Conduct scheduled maintenance and inspections to prevent failures.
- Team with engineering and production to troubleshoot effectively.
- Apply precise metrology to confirm conformance to spec.
- Maintain thorough, accurate repair and maintenance records.
- Assist with the design and build of new tooling as needed.
- Mentor junior technicians, reinforcing safety (including LOTO) and best practices.
Background and capabilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical schooling/certification preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in tool and die repair.
- Strong grounding in machining methods and materials.
- Hands-on mastery of precision measuring tools and shop equipment.
- Detail-focused problem solver with strong communication skills.
- Works well independently and within a team; safety-first mindset.
