Tool Room Apprentice

This role supports the Tool Room team by maintaining molds, assisting with tooling projects, and learning toolmaking and machining skills over time. This role supports the Tool Room team by maintaining molds, assisting with tooling projects, and learning toolmaking and machining skills over time. Key Responsibilities Perform mold cleaning, inspection, and preventative maintenanceon production molds. Assist with mold tear-down, reassembly, and preparationfor production runs. Support the Tool Room team with basic tooling repairs and maintenance activities. Assist with fixture preparation and simple machining tasksas skills develop. Maintain accurate documentation of mold maintenance and repairs. Keep tool room and work areas clean, organized, and aligned with 5S standards. Learn and develop understanding of injection molding tooling, mold construction, and machining processes. Assist experienced toolmakers with mold repair, modifications, and new tooling projectsas training progresses. Preferred Qualifications (Adjusted for Entry Level) High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree in machine tool technology, tool & die, mold making, or similar mechanical field preferred, but not required. Prior manufacturing, machining, mechanical, or maintenance experiencepreferred. Ability to read basic prints and use measuring tools. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machining and tooling processes.
