Pay: $25.00/hour

Associated Staffing is hiring an experienced Tool Maker for a manufacturing company in Hastings, NE. This is a great opportunity for a skilled machinist with CNC programming, tool and die and precision machining experience.
Flexible Schedule
This position offers flexibility within 6: 00 AM 5: 00 PM. Scheduling options can include:
Four 10-hour shifts
Five 8-hour shifts
Other schedules within the available hours may be considered
Specific hours can be discussed during the interview
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, 3D models, technical drawings and specifications
Program, set up and operate CNC mills, lathes and other machine tools
Fabricate, modify, repair and maintain molds, dies, fixtures and other manufacturing tooling
Troubleshoot tooling and mold issues while minimizing production downtime
Identify and resolve problems involving product design, materials and manufacturing processes
Perform precision machining and grinding
Use precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, indicators and height gauges
Participate in design reviews for new tooling
Assist Tool Shop and Production personnel with projects as needed
Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment
Follow all company safety procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, 3D models and technical drawings
CNC programming, setup and operation experience
Strong experience with SolidWorks and CAMWorks
Precision machining and grinding experience
Tool and die fabrication and repair experience
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree in Advanced Manufacturing Design Technology (AMDT) or a related field preferred;relevant hands-on experience may be considered in place of a degree
Experience in rubber manufacturing is a plus
