We are seeking an experienced Tool & Die Technician to build, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot production dies, tooling, fixtures, and related equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Build, repair, modify, and maintain dies, tooling, jigs, fixtures, and gauges.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD models, and specifications.
- Set up and operate CNC and conventional machining equipment.
- Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Troubleshoot tooling and machine issues to minimize downtime and defects.
- Use CAD software to design and modify tooling.
- Inspect finished tooling for quality and accuracy.
- Perform preventive maintenance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work with engineering, maintenance, and production teams on process improvements.
- Follow all safety procedures, including LOTO and 6S.
- Work scheduled nights and weekends as required.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of tool and die manufacturing or maintenance experience.
- 2+ years of manufacturing machinery experience.
- Experience with CNC and conventional machining.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use precision measuring tools.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and move throughout the shift and frequently lift up to 65 lbs. Work may involve exposure to heat, machinery, fumes, and other manufacturing hazards. Required PPE must be worn.
Pay: $25/hour BOE, equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
