Tool & Die Maker
Location: Hartford City, IN
Pay: $28.00–$40.00+/hr (Based on Experience)
Schedule: 6:30 AM- 3:00 PM (32-Hour Work Week + Fridays as Needed)

Pro Resources is seeking an experienced Tool & Die Maker for a direct hire opportunity with a well-established manufacturing company in Hartford City, IN. Responsibilities
- Build, repair, and maintain single-hit and progressive stamping dies
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
- Set up and operate manual machine tools including lathes, mills, grinders, and shapers
- Troubleshoot tooling issues and implement corrective actions
- Recommend and execute tooling design improvements
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams on new and existing tooling projects
- Support die tryouts and production launches
- Order tooling components, materials, and shop supplies as needed
- Create and maintain tooling documentation and drawings
Qualifications
- Previous Tool & Die Maker experience required
- Experience with metal stamping and progressive dies preferred
- Strong blueprint reading and machining skills
- Ability to work with tight tolerances and precision measurements
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Mechanical Engineering degree or related education is a plus
