Our Client in Fairfield NJ is seeking a skilled Tool & Die Maker to join their team!
Schedule: Monday - Friday (Full time flexible hrs)
Pay: DOE
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Construct, alter, and repair a variety of tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges to very close tolerance.
- Develops strategies for fabricating die components using the most efficient machining methodology.
- Demonstrated ability for using shop mathematics, handbook of geometric and trigonometric formulas.
- Ability to work from drawings and sketches.
- Ability to use all types of precision measuring instruments.
- Thorough knowledge of machine shop practices, principles of mechanics, machine shop operations, and the working generalities of material
- Previous experience working with Progressive or Compound Dies
REQUIREMENTS:
- HS diploma required.
