Dove Die & Stamping is seeking experienced Tool & Die Makers and Die Repair Technicians to join our team. This position is responsible for building, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving metal stamping dies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Build, repair, modify, and maintain stamping dies.
- Troubleshoot tooling and production issues.
- Perform die sharpening, rework, rebuilds, and press support.
- Read and interpret blueprints, die layouts, and engineering drawings.
- Perform machining, grinding, fitting, and assembly work.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams.
- Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of Tool & Die or Die Repair experience.
- Experience with progressive, single-stage, compound, or line dies.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read blueprints and work independently.
- Machining, grinding, and press troubleshooting experience preferred.
- Apprenticeship completion is a plus.
Preferred
- Transfer die, deep draw die, fixture, or gauge experience.
- Welding and heat-treat experience.
- Leadership or mentoring experience.
