Location: Brooklyn Park, OH

Salary: Up to 35.00 per hour

 

Dove Die & Stamping Company is seeking an experienced Tool & Die Maker / Die Repair Technician to build, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve metal stamping dies in a fast-paced unionized manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair, maintain, and modify stamping dies
• Troubleshoot tooling and press-related issues
• Perform die tryouts, sharpening, rebuilds, and adjustments
• Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and engineering drawings
• Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams
• Maintain tooling documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Mentor apprentices and less experienced toolmakers as needed
• Follow ISO 9001 quality standards and safety procedures

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Tool & Die, Die Repair, or Die Making experience
• Experience with progressive, single-stage, line, and secondary operation dies
• Strong machining, grinding, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Experience with transfer or deep draw dies is a plus
• Apprenticeship completion preferred
