    Tool & Die Maker 1st Shift (4-Day Workweek)

    Cedarburg, WI

    ATACO Steel Products Corp is hiring an experienced Tool & Die Maker to support our metal stamping operations. This role focuses on building, repairing, and maintaining stamping dies, fixtures, and tooling to keep production running efficiently.

    Schedule:

    1st Shift

    • Monday-Thursday, 4:00 AM-2:00 PM

    OR

    • Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:00 PM
    • Occasional Friday overtime, up to 2 Fridays a month mandatory

    2nd Shift

    • Monday-Thursday, 2:00 PM-12:00 AM
    • Occasional Friday overtime, up to 2 Fridays a month mandatory

    What You'll Do

    • Build, repair, and maintain stamping dies, fixtures, and tooling
    • Perform die maintenance and troubleshooting during production changeovers
    • Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and manual machining equipment
    • Machine and fit tooling components to precise tolerances
    • Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T specifications
    • Work with engineering and production teams to improve tooling performance
    • Maintain records of tooling repairs and modifications

    What We're Looking For

    • Completion of a Tool & Die or Toolmaker apprenticeship
    • 7+ years of experience in a metal stamping or toolmaking environment
    • Strong knowledge of precision machining, blueprint reading, and GD&T
    • Experience operating CNC mills and manual machine tools
    • Ability to troubleshoot tooling and die issues independently
