Pay: $65,000–$120,000 per year

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Tool & Die CAD Designer to join our team in Roseville, MI. This position focuses on designing and developing metal stamping dies using Siemens NX.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in tool and die design, metal stamping, and die construction. Experience with progressive dies, transfer dies, or Class A automotive dies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and modify metal stamping dies and related tooling components.

• Create 3D models, 2D drawings, and detailed die layouts using Siemens NX.

• Work closely with toolmakers, die makers, engineers, and manufacturing teams.

• Review blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements.

• Make design changes and improvements based on manufacturing needs.

• Support die builds, tryouts, and troubleshooting.

• Ensure tooling designs meet quality and production requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of metal stamping die design experience required.

• Siemens NX experience required.

• Strong understanding of tool and die construction and metal stamping processes.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T.

• Experience creating and modifying tooling designs.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

• Previous tool and die shop experience
