Modify and troubleshoot models to ensure accurate designCreate machining/assembly layouts for manufacturingAssist with any tool design inquiry, issue, or concern on a promptly matter to ensure manufacturing of parts to specificationProvide shop support as needed for tool design inquiriesParticipate of engineering team meetings, and collaborate as neededIdentify opportunities for tool design optimization and cost reduction Work with cross-functional teams, Manufacturing Engineers, Quality Engineers & Operations Leaders on assigned projects or activitiesManage multiple projects, prioritize requests and meet timelinesREQUIREMENTSBachelor or Associate's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or similar field is preferredStrong knowledge in manufacturing, specially machining processes such as turning, milling, drilling and tapping is requiredAt least two years of work experience on fixture/tool design, 3D modeling and 2D drawing, is requiredMust have experience in 3D/2D CAD/CAM systems.
