Position Summary:
We are looking for a Tool Crib Clerk I to join our growing team! The Tool Crib Clerk I will provide support by preparing & issuing wheels and tooling to the shop floor, manages new and used tooling inventory, works with Production Control to follow a strict schedule and receives in inventory.
Job Functions for Tool Crib Clerk I:
- Create, dress & qualify wheel packs for all CNC machines
- Issue collets and other tooling to the shop floor
- Other tasks as assigned by supervisor and management
Qualifications for Tool Crib Clerk I:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Basic computer and Math skills
- Candidate must be very detail orientated, able to work in a fast paced environment, multi task, and have excellent customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications for Tool Crib Clerk I
- Previous experience in a manufacturing work environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and computer inventory systems

Physical Working Demands:
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate by phone using the English Language.
- Ability to stand for long periods (3-4 hours at a time) to run machines.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds to support the weight of machine components and be able to reach into machinery for several hours at a time. Position involves bending, pulling, pushing, and twisting to complete machine maintenance tasks.
- Must feel comfortable with heights and climbing ladders.
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Compensation type:
- $18-$20 range depending on experience + monthly bonus potential
Reports to: Shift Supervisor
Hours: 2:00 p.m - 10:30 p.m (Monday - Friday)
Classification: Non-Exempt, Hourly
