    Description

    Tool Crib Attendant - 1st shift
    Location - S. Phoenix


    The Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for managing tools, consumables, and PPE. This role ensures inventory is accurately tracked through the Securastock system, tools are inspected and serviced appropriately, and employees receive the equipment they need to perform their jobs safely and efficiently.
    Responsibilities

    • Manage and issue tools, consumables, hardware, and PPE through the Securastock system.
    • Enforce job accountability: all items must be checked out against a valid job number.
    • Inspect returned tools for damage, wear, or missing components; route items to Maintenance as needed.
    • Organize and maintain the crib for efficient and safe access.
    • Monitor tool cycle counts, and report required services to Maintenance.
    • Cross-check vendor restocks and verifies counts when bins are replenished.
    • Conduct continuous cycle counts and required monthly counts.
    • Distribute PPE (hearing protection, gloves, lens wipes, etc.) and restock facility dispensers.
    • Perform monthly fire extinguisher checks and report to Operations.
    • Maintain accurate records of issues, returns, and discrepancies.
    • Keep the tool crib area clean, orderly, and secured.
    Qualifications
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
    • Basic computer literacy; ability to learn and operate Securastock (training provided).
    • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and alternate between kneeling, standing, and sitting for 8–10 hours.
