    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Tool and Equipment Management:

    • Issue tools, equipment, and MRO supplies to production and maintenance personnel as needed.
    • Ensure that all tools and equipment are returned in good condition and accounted for.
    • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition.

    2. Inventory Control:

    • Maintain accurate inventory records of all tools, equipment, and supplies within the crib.
    • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
    • Track tool usage and life cycle to forecast replacement needs and avoid shortages.

    3. Procurement and Stock Replenishment:

    • Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchase requests to replenish stock as needed.
    • Work with the procurement team to source and order new tools, equipment, and supplies.
    • Ensure timely delivery and proper storage of incoming materials.

    4. Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain detailed records of tool usage, inventory transactions, and maintenance activities.
    • Generate reports on inventory levels, tool usage, and equipment status for management review.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding inventory management.

    5. Process Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities to improve tool crib operations and implement best practices.
    • Collaborate with the maintenance and production teams to streamline tool distribution processes.
    • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.

    6. Safety and Compliance:

    • Ensure that all tools and equipment are stored and handled in accordance with safety regulations.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections of the crib and related storage areas.
    • Promote a culture of safety and compliance within the tool crib and across the manufacturing floor.

    7. Customer Service:

    • Provide excellent customer service to all production and maintenance personnel.
    • Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to tool and equipment distribution.
    • Assist with training employees on proper tool usage and maintenance procedures.

    .Qualifications:

    Education and Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in inventory management or related field preferred.
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in tool crib operations, inventory management, or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., CMMS, ERP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Knowledge of tools, equipment, and MRO supplies used in manufacturing.
    • Basic mechanical skills and understanding of tool maintenance procedures. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
