Tool Crib Attendant 2nd & 3rd shiftIndiana Packers Corporation (IPC), a dynamic fresh pork processor based in Delphi, Indiana, is looking for a motivated Tool Crib Attendant to join our team at our world-class processing facility. This role will provide tools needed throughout the plant. It requires daily record keeping, data entry and inventory control.Shift hours are Monday through Friday from 2:00pm to 10:30pm for second shift and 10:00pm to 6:30am for the third shift. Ability to acquire certification requiredBasic math skills for verification of receipt quantitiesAbility to work independently and identify solutions with very little supervision.Ability to read and comprehend various prints, schematics and other company related documentsAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and Resourceful in accomplishing tasksEffective communication of issues and solutions to cross-functional team membersWillingness to work overtime as neededWork Environment:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions on the site including exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud and hearing protection is required. The position regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in cold, hot, and outdoor conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust. Physical Demand:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.The position lifts heavy objects up to 75 lbs., walks and stands for long periods of time and performs strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. The employee lifts, pushes, pulls, or carries objects; uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support without fatigue. The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arms and fingers, two hands) and multi-limb coordination. The position requires the ability to quickly move arms and legs. The employee must have excellent stamina and vision.
