    Description

    DPP is seeking a Tool Crib Assistant II for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
     
    Work location: Onsite in Englewood, CO
    Duration: 12 months
    Terms: W2 Contract
    Work authorization: US Citizen; must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance
     
    Responsibilities:
    • As a Tool Crib Assistant II, you will receive, store, and issue our tools, machine tool fixtures, dies, and measuring devices.
    • This role will be responsible for cleaning, oiling, and performing minor repairs on our tools and equipment and tracking surplus or obsolete equipment.
    • You’ll ensure our tools and equipment are fully functional and kept in safe working condition to keep the continuity of work operations intact.
    Required qualifications:
    • Basic understanding of the use, maintenance, and repair of a variety of hand/power tools and tooling equipment.
    • Experience with TCMax Asset Management Suite.
    • Background in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
    • Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance.
    Education requirements:
    • High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 2 or more years of relevant experience.
    • A higher-level degree may substitute for experience.
    • Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education.
    Preferred qualifications:
    • Background in the US Department of Defense
    • Background in the US Military
    Physical/Mental/Emotional requirements:
    • Frequently walk, sit, stand, climb stairs and steps.
    • Frequently repeat same hand, arm, and finger motion many times to include finger and hand dexterity.
    • Frequently requires vision abilities to include close, distance, depth perception, and telling the difference between colors.
    • Frequently requires hearing abilities to include discerning different tones and volumes.
    • Frequently lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs.
    Working conditions:
    • Occasionally exposed to outdoor elements (high/low temperatures, sun, rain/snow, etc.)
    • Occasionally exposed to fumes or hazardous chemicals/materials.
    • Frequently exposed to loud noises.
    Safety sensitive position:
    • Responsible for the safety or security of people or property.
    • Inspects, handles, or transports explosives, dangerous or hazardous materials.
    • Inspects structures, equipment or vehicles.
    • Performs aviation related duties.
    • Operate or supervise vehicles, heavy or dangerous equipment or machinery.
