HiFyve is hiring a Tool and Die Technician in the Metal Stamping industry in Springfield, OH!
Salary: Up to $36/hour
Shift: 1st Shift
Location: Springfield, OH
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience operating toolroom machinery (lathes, mills, grinders, etc.) required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of metal stamping dies (blanking, forming, drawing)
- Understanding of die timing, pad travels, stripper and binder pad pressures and timing
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and perform shop math
- Experience with die sensors, safety devices, and in-press troubleshooting
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments accurately
- Must supply own measurement and hand tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Forklift and overhead crane operation experience preferred
- Basic computer literacy and data entry skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across shifts and departments
