HiFyve is hiring a Tool Maker in the Manufacturing industry in Cincinnati, OH!
Salary: $30.00/hour (depending on experience) + $1.25/hour shift premium
Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM (10-hour shifts); occasional weekend shifts of 4–5 hours
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on complex fineblanking dies used in manufacturing operations.
- Diagnose tooling issues and implement effective repairs to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and tooling specifications.
- Disassemble, inspect, reassemble, and test tooling to ensure proper performance and quality.
- Operate manual machine tools and precision measuring equipment to repair and modify tooling components.
- Complete preventative maintenance on dies and tooling to maximize equipment life.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures.
- Experience maintaining and repairing complex fineblanking dies or similar precision tooling.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and manual machine shop equipment.
- Knowledge of tooling maintenance best practices and preventative maintenance procedures.
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
