    Job Type: Full-Time

    Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm

    Reports to: Operations Manager

    Position Summary:

    As a Tool Maker, you'll perform complex bench, machine, and finishing operations to maintain and enhance precision fixtures. You'll play a key role in improving operations performance, leading training for junior staff, and working with a high-performing technical team in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan, layout, and execute fixture and tooling maintenance work with minimal supervision.
    • Modify and maintain complex fixtures to optimize performance.
    • Operate and set up all Tool Room equipment and machinery.
    • Perform advanced machine set-ups that may require tool modifications.
    • Monitor and inspect tool performance and quality.
    • Instruct and mentor other Toolmakers, Machinists, and Technicians.
    • Operate overhead cranes as required.
    • Assist in machine troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
    • Maintain all documentation associated in tooling and machine setups.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Wire EDM and Esprit programming experience is a plus.
    • Completion of a state sponsored Tool & Die or Mold Maker apprenticeship program or equivalent industry experience.
    • 5+ years of related experience in tooling manufacturing
    • Skilled in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
    • Soldering, brazing, and welding a plus.
    • CNC programming and CAD experience (Solid Works) is a plus.
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
    • Solid computer skills a plus.
