    Description

    Basic Function:

    • Responsible for managing and assembling tooling projects, ensuring components meet specifications and deadlines. ️

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Participate in Pre-Build meetings to plan efficient manufacturing processes
    • Assemble tooling and verify machined components meet specifications
    • ️ Machine components using standard processes to required tolerances
    • Manage assigned tooling projects to meet customer quality and delivery expectations

    Principle Duties:

    • Assemble components into completed tooling
    • ️ Set up and operate tools to manufacture components
    • ‍ Train and mentor apprentices

    Education & Experience:

    • Skills: Advanced math, basic computer skills, ability to read technical drawings, strong communication
    • Education/Training: High school diploma or equivalent, plus completion of a state-indentured Tool & Die apprenticeship OR 6 years as a non-indentured Tool & Die Maker
    • Experience: 3–5 years building progressive tooling (metal stamping preferred)
    • Certification: Journeyman Card in Tool & Die

    Type:

    You should be proficient in:

    • Metal Stamping & Forming (Progressive Die)
    • Tool/Die/Mold Repair Skills
