Tool and Die Maker

Prestige Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Tool and Die Maker for a direct hire opportunity with outstanding benefits that begin on the 1st day of employment.

Primary Responsibilities:        

• Repair, maintain and make improvements to all tools and fixtures
  
• Assist in machine repair, change over, set up and operation as required
  
• Safely operate all tool room equipment: Bridgeport mill, lathe, surface grinder, etc.
  
• Assemble and disassemble tooling, dies and gauges
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve tooling problems
  
• Work with various materials such as tool steels, plastics, aluminum, and copper
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); journeyman’s certification and/or equivalent experience. 
  
• Demonstrate ability to use all hand measurement tools and to read and interpret tooling drawings
  
• Must have or acquire personal tools to perform job assignment
