CNC (Computerized Numerical Control) Systems, Cost Control, Detail Oriented, High School Diploma, Identify Issues, Machine Tool, Machining, Product Costing, Time Management, Tool and Die Manufacturing
Job details:
- Responsible for all aspect of build and final assembly of progressive dies and fixtures.
- Work with little to no supervision.
- Die maker must be able to operate all tool room equipment including CNC machines.
- Troubleshoot most tooling issues.
- Work in close tolerances +/- .0002
- Required to supervise subordinate level machinists on occasion.
- Identify opportunity to improve product and reduce cost.
- Run and set up CNC Mills and program basic work at machine.
- Knowledge and understanding of feed and speed required to cut various materials.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3 + years' experience in machining or similar.
- Mechanical aptitude (measuring with Vernier's and Micrometers.)
- Attention to detail.
- Time management.
