MTA Bridges and Tunnels operates the largest bridge and tunnel network in New York City, managing nine crossings that include seven bridges and two tunnels. Telework:
This position is eligible for telework which is currently one day per week. New hires are eligible to apply 30 days after their effective date of hire.
Job Summary:
The Central Business District Tolling Program (CBDTP) is a complex, statutorily mandated initiative requiring the design, implementation, operation, and maintenance of a congestion pricing program within New York City's Central Business District. The program involves extensive coordination with federal, state, regional, and local agencies, private-sector partners, and the public, and encompasses roadway tolling technology, customer service operations, exemption and discount programs, performance reporting, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory compliance. Under the direction of the Business Manager, Back Office Services (BOS) & Exemptions, the incumbent will support the administration of internal audit and compliance activities related to the CBDTP Back Office Services, exemption, and discount programs. Working closely with internal stakeholders and other MTA departments, the position is responsible for evaluating program controls, monitoring compliance with business requirements, policies, and procedures, identifying operational risks, and supporting corrective actions to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and effectiveness of CBDTP operations.

Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) from an accredited institution with concentration in one of the following or related areas: Business Administration, Public Administration, Project Management, or Finance, or a closely related field
Minimum 3 years in internal audit, compliance monitoring, internal controls, program administration, operations analysis, revenue assurance, fraud prevention and detection, or a related field.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, or Power BI), TEAMS, Zoom, or similar virtual platforms
Must have highly developed presentation skills, critical thinking
Excellent project management and/or organizational skills
Excellent research and writing skills
Strong time management skills
Self-motivated and proactive team player
Experience analyzing data, identifying trends and anomalies, and preparing reports and recommendations
Experience reviewing and interpreting policies, procedures, business requirements, and eligibility criteria
Preferred:
Master's degree in arts/sciences (MA/MS) in Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
Familiarity with the MTA's policies and procedures
Understanding of B&T's E-ZPass and/or Cashless Tolling programs
Familiarity with NYCSC Operations
Knowledge of Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements
Exposure to NYCSC contract, scope of work, and amendments
Intermediate working knowledge of SQL, Power BI and/or Oracle
