Outpatient Psychiatry Opportunity - Toledo, Ohio
Mercy Health Physicians is seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our dedicated team within an Integrated Behavioral Health/Primary Care model. This full-time, employed position offers an exceptional opportunity to provide high-quality outpatient care in a collaborative environment.
Opportunity Details:
- Full-time, Monday-Friday schedule (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with a potential option for 4-day work week)
- Average 10-12 patients per day
- Flexibility in weekly scheduling, with some telemedicine capability for virtual visits
- Ambulatory care onlyno inpatient or on-call responsibilities
- Integrated within 1-2 Mercy primary care offices in Toledo area.
- Ongoing referrals from PCP practices, with some patient panel absorption
- Board Certification or Eligibility required, familiarity with integrated behavioral health preferred.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of mental health disorders.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to build rapport with patients and deliver compassionate care in an outpatient setting.
- Familiarity with integrated care models and working within a primary care environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to work with diverse patient populations.
- Strong documentation skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR)
- Ability to effectively manage patient caseloads while maintaining high standards of care.
