About the Position


As a Toddler Team Teacher, you will work alongside other educators to create a warm, engaging, and nurturing classroom where children can learn through play, exploration, and meaningful experiences.


Responsibilities


  • Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Plan and participate in age-appropriate, play-based activities.
  • Support children's social-emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development.
  • Engage children through art, music, sensory play, stories, outdoor activities, and hands-on learning.
  • Observe and document children's development and progress.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom.
  • Build positive relationships with children and families.
  • Communicate professionally with parents about their child's day and development.
  • Work collaboratively with co-teachers and school leadership.
  • Follow all health, safety, supervision, and licensing requirements.
Qualifications


  • Genuine love for working with young children.
  • Previous childcare, preschool, or early childhood experience preferred.
  • CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is a plus.
  • Dependable, patient, energetic, and nurturing.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to complete required training and maintain CPR/First Aid certification.
