Funtastic Childcare Center is seeking an experienced, fun, creative teacher for our two-year old classroom. We are looking for a teacher who loves connecting with individual children and creating a happy, engaging classroom environment. Job Responsibilities:
- Care for the daily personal needs of the children
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for the children
- Meet the emotional, social, physical and cognitive needs of each child
- Develop and implement weekly lesson plans
- Be an active member of your classroom by engaging and interacting with each child
- Complete assessments and lead parent-teacher conferences as needed
- Maintain daily open communication with parents both verbally and through our app (postings and pictures)
- Log accident and incident reports
- Maintain confidentiality
- Cooperate and collaborate with all coworkers for the best of the children
- Assist with duties that will help to create a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for the center as a whole
- Meet all applicable licensing regulations
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, or a CDA preferred, but not required
- At least 2 years of childcare experience
