Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Toddler Teacher Assistant to join our early childhood education team in Warren, RI. The ideal candidate will support the lead teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for toddlers to learn and grow.
Responsibilities
- Assist the lead toddler teacher in daily classroom activities and lesson plans.
- Provide attentive care and supervision to toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through guided play and learning activities.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding children's progress and needs.
- Assist with meal and snack times, diapering, and toileting as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Toddler Teacher Assistant or in a similar early childhood education role.
- Passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work under the guidance of the lead teacher.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
