Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Toddler Preschool Teacher to join our team! You will be leading a class of students through the school year, assessing their current academic level, and designing instruction to meet students’ collective and individual needs.

You are passionate about learning and helping students reach their potential. With strong creative and problem-solving skills, you love connecting with individual students and creating an engaging classroom environment. You love working with children, aiming to educate and nurture young minds in a stimulating environment. We also provide in-classroom training to entry level teachers.

Responsibilities
  • Teaching and guiding toddlers and preschool age kids in small groups.
  • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for children.
  • Monitor and assess student progress through detailed observations.
  • Collaborate with staff, and administration to ensure the best possible educational experience for students
  • Assist children with developing social and emotional skills
  • Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques
  • Assess student's skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 15 ECE/CD units required (including infant/toddler coursework)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
  • Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
  • Previous experience working with children in a childcare or daycare setting preferred
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
  • Team player and adaptable
  • Problem-solving and mediation skills

  • Mandatory Certifications: We can help/ guide you through the process for some of the following.
    • A minimum of 15 ECE/CD units required (including infant/toddler coursework)
    • Fingerprinted and background checked (LiveScan)
    • Pediatric First Aid and CPR
    • MMR and Tdap Vaccinations
    • Negative TB test
    • Mandated reporter trainingBachelor’s degree and state teaching certification
